The job holder will participate in biodiversity baseline surveys, advise on the restoration of well pads and the company’s long-term biodiversity programs. The job holder will be a focal point for the co-ordination of environmental reporting and assistance in the company. Manage, implement, and co-ordinate the environmental compliance schedule within the company and across operations. Verify that Environmental Impact Assessment and legal approval conditions are incorporated within projects at site level and managed efficiently. Deliver training packages on various environmental issues and manage the Environmental team located both in Kampala and on site.

This is a senior position and will report directly to the Finance Controller. The job holder will be in charge of Budget elaboration in conjunction with cost control, accounting and technical/support departments.
