Job Purpose:
Responsible for software testing and quality control for all software changes/enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop QA procedures for all system changes within UMEME
• Be responsible for all Testing and QA environments
• Develop Systems Integration Test plans
• Develop User Acceptance Test plans
• Develop and implement regression test plans
• Work closely with the Change Manager Coordinator to implement comprehensive testing for all changes due for release to production environments
• Work closely with development teams
• Liaise with business users
• Collaborate with business analysts in designing test plans
• Introduce best practice test procedures
• Perform any other duties as required

Required Qualifications:
• Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent
Experience:
• Two years + experience of working in a software testing environment
• Familiarity with testing tools and techniques
Personal Attributes/Competencies:
• Inquisitive and questioning approach
• Honesty and Integrity
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Persistence, and the ability to follow through and bring tasks to completion
• High level of technical competency
• Ability to work with others
