Description:
|
As Materials Controller you
will report directly to the Procurement Manager.
You will;
- Review material resource planning (MRP)
data in material master for correctness and relevance.
- Analyze material usage for Kampala and
Mbarara Plants.
- Monitor and review material resource
planning (MRP) recommendations to aid correct buying.
- Back up Super user for the SAP Materials
Management module.
- Back up trainer of new and refresher for
SAP Materials Management (MM) users.
- Link with Business Support Centre and
Business process Developer for SAP MM module.
- Any other duties as assigned by Manager.

Requirements:
|
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Mechanical or
Electrical Engineering.
- A post graduate qualification in
Procurement and Logistics Management will be an added advantage.
- 2 years’ experience and knowledge of
procurement and logistics management with Fast Moving Consumer Goods
environment (FMCG).
- Working knowledge of inventory management.
- Proficient in Computer applications, SAP
knowledge is added advantage.
- Good oral, written communication and
interpersonal skills.
- Must be forward thinking and exhibit high
levels of self-motivation and team work.
