Banking Operations Manager ( FINCA Uganda Limited (MDI), Uganda ) FINCA Uganda Limited (MDI) is the very first licensed micro finance deposit taking institution in Uganda, and part of a global network which serves over 850,000 clients in 21 countries. FINCA Uganda currently offers loans, savings and money transfer services in Uganda, one of the most competitive and dynamic microfinance markets in the world. FINCA Uganda is seeking to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated, result oriented professional to fill the position below. Banking Operations Manager (1 position) FINCA is looking for a Banking Operations Manager to be based at Head Office, Kampala. The position is a member of the Operations department. S/he will support banking operations to ensure adherence to operational policies and procedures and control operational lapses. Key Result Areas: Supervision and control of centralized loans processing function Enhance productivity of business teams and ensure adherence to operational and accounting policies Enhance productivity of front office banking staff Periodic review of front and back office operations to ensure due diligence on teller Review operational oversight for system access by front and back office staff Develop and manage standardized format for collating and analyzing branch customer interactions Generate reports from collected data for management information.

Requirement: A degree in Business Administration or Commerce, Professional qualifications is an added advantage. At least 6years work experience in a recognized micro finance institution or commercial bank, with at least 4 years’ experience in cross functional, front & back office operations supervisory roles. Practical knowledge of core banking applications. Practical knowledge of credit processes and procedures. Strong interpersonal skills.
